We are recruiting for a Durable Medical Equipment Manager to join our Kindred at Home Division in Atlanta, GA. Summary: Responsible for all aspects of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) management for company wide hospice branches. Works as an effective business partner with Hospice leadership at all levels of the company. Essential Functions: -
Develops contracts with the DME vendors, and monitors and enforces resulting terms and conditions. - Provides leadership in the qualification, source selection, contract negotiation, and relationship management with suppliers. Oversees vendor selection, assesses vendor capabilities, develops alternate sources and continuously evaluates vendor performance.
- Assists Hospice leadership with the development, support and evaluations for DME Request For Proposals.
- Provides ongoing supplier management which includes resolving supplier issues, coordinating survey activity and participating in quarterly review meetings and monthly variance analysis.

Supports procurement of DME to ensure that contract and standard products are utilized. -
Manages the relationship with current DME vendors and is responsible for the successful resolution of issues identified and escalated by the field locations. -
Coordinates and processes monthly national supplier invoices. Provides follow up with internal associate(s) and/or supplier(s) to resolve any invoice issues. -
Continually explores new opportunities for cost savings. -
Assists the team in establishing the appropriate infrastructure (i.e., ordering and invoicing process, reporting systems, etc.) for new programs as assigned. Reviews existing operational program processes and makes recommendations for improvement -
Adheres to and participates in Company's mandatory HIPAA privacy program/practices, Business Ethics and Compliance programs/practices, and all Company policies and procedures -
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned -

3 years administrative/procurement generally required. -
Strong knowledge of contract terms/conditions and related ongoing reporting/legal requirements required. -
Excellent verbal, written, and negotiating skills required. Strong analytical and personal computer skills (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint) also required. -
Demonstrate ability to collaborate effectively as a business partner while deploying exceptional relationship-building skills. -
Proven ability to manage new business processes, multiple projects, deadlines and priorities. -
