Friends House is a Quaker inspired non-profit continuing care retirement community(CCRC) in Santa Rosa, CA. Our Skilled Nursing Facility is looking for a caring, dedicated and mission-driven Director of Nursing who will be responsible for all nursing programs and services in our health care unit. The ideal candidate will be:
A team player and have great communication skills in coordinating with the physicians, medical director, health care administrator, consultants and the Interdisciplinary Team for overall patient care.
Highly organized and have a vested interest in providing outstanding customer service. High level of tact, judgment, and integrity.
Proven track record in managing and developing clinical staff members, including but not limited to staff evaluations and disciplinary reviews.
Assures Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and audit programs are in place as well as charting, care planning, staff scheduling, and coordination of all transfers.
Improving and maintaining our star rating, QAPI program, risk management and safety, as well as regulation in state/federal standards.
Attend mandatory in-service meetings to keep abreast of changes in health, safety regulations, employee policies and emergency procedures.
Active CA Registered Nurse (RN) License.
Active BLS Certification.
5 years of NURSING experience at a nursing facility or hospital setting.
3 years of NURSING LEADERSHIP experience at a nursing facility or hospital setting.
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred, DOE
EMR Charting experience.
Versed in the regulatory requirements of licensing and certification compliance (including Title 22), Federal Regulations, and Medicare/Medical compliance.
Will be on call 24/7
Additional Salary Information: commensurate with nursing experience
