Providence is calling a Regional Program Manager - Clinical Standardization Children's Services (1.0 FTE, Days) to Providence St. Vincent East Pavillion in Portland, OR.
In this position, you will:
Be responsible for facilitating clinical standardization to provide highly reliable, evidenced based care for children in the Oregon Region.
Perform leadership responsibilities including oversight and management of pediatric/children’s clinical policies and procedures, clinical care guidelines, measuring and reporting quality and safety performance, and supporting the implementation of enterprise and Oregon Region initiatives and tools applicable to the care of children.
Have scope within Providence that includes but is not limited to: Leading state-wide multi-disciplinary teams for children's health services spanning acute care, surgical services, emergency care, and outpatient clinics; facilitating policy and practice work groups, leading state-wide discussions for children's care to support state-wide adoption of standardized clinical practices and pathways; manages process for the reporting of quality and safety measures for children's services.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing -and- Masters in Nursing, Health Administration, Public Health or Business Administration required or in progress
Current Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license
6-8 years of nursing experience which includes experience working with, newborn, neonatal and pediatric patients
Experience with developing clinical care policies, procedures, and order sets
Experience facilitating multidisciplinary teams to achieve standardization of clinical processes and policies
Experience with electronic medical record charting and documentation systems
