Hospice of the Piedmont is a growing, community based nonprofit Hospice seeking a full-time Hospice Physician. The Hospice Physician; Associate Medical Director assumes overall responsibility for the provision of medical care for Hospice patients throughout our continuum of care, including but not limited to home and facility based patients.

Current license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Virginia without limitations and unrestricted DEA license.
Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy degree from an accredited school of medicine.
Certification by a primary medical board recognized by the ABMS or AOA.
Board certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine through the ABMS or certification through the Hospice Medical Director Certification Board preferred
2-4 years of related experience in Hospice and Palliative Medicine preferred
