Forest Hill, a full service retirement community (Continuing Care Retirement Community - CCRC) located in Pacific Grove, California, is seeking a Nursing Home Administrator to serve as Health Services Administrator (HSA). Reporting to the CCRC's Executive Director, this position is responsible for the operation of the on-campus boutique SNF and Assisted Living Units, and business office staff including front desk and security services. Forest Hill's SNF (Health Center) is 26 beds and its AssistedLviing Unit is comprosed of 18 apartments and they are integral to the on-site continuum of care. Both are located within the first CCRC on the Monterey Peninsula that includes 91 Residential apartments and serve Forest Hill's CCRC residents as well as patients from the surrounding area.
The hands-on position requires the successful candidate to have a proven track record in nursing home management including clinical aspects, fiscal and human resource management, staff recruitment, private pay and Medicare census building, and resident and community relations.

The applicant must hold a current California Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license and have at least two years of experience as an NHA. NHA licensed applicants with a graduate or undergraduate college degree in health care administration that included an internship in long-term care and at least one year experience in nursing home management will also be considered.
Position requires California Department of Social Services mandated criminal record clearance.
