This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. The HCC Section Chief of Specialty Medicine/Surgery provides administrative, programmatic, and clinical leadership for primary care services at the Greenville VA Health Care Center to ensure achievement of the clinical, research, and education goals. The incumbent reports to the Health Care Center Associate Chief of Staff and serves as a key clinical resource for the Health Care Center Administrator, Durham VA Medical Center Director, Chief of Staff and the Chief of Medical Service and Surgery Service.
