The Mental Health Service is looking for psychiatrists who are value-driven, recovery- and diversity-oriented, and possess energy, compassion, and a pursuit of excellence to join our outpatient General Mental Health (GMH) Program. As a member of a multidisciplinary team, the psychiatrist is responsible for medication management for patients with a wide variety of mental disorders, including supportive psychotherapy when indicated, as well as facilitation of medication support groups, evaluating and providing medical clearance for patients presenting to the clinic who may need psychiatric hospitalization, and assessment and intervention for patients presenting in crisis. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm; Alternate Tour of duty may be required to include evening hours and weekends.
