We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Residential Services to oversee our Residential Services Department. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring high-quality, compliant, and person-centered care across all 9 Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) group homes across San Diego County.
What You’ll Do
As Director of Residential Services, you will provide overall leadership and management of our residential programs. You’ll ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, manage budgets and billing processes, and maintain strong relationships with funding agencies and families. You will also lead, coach, and support residential managers and staff to ensure safe, high-quality service delivery and positive outcomes for the people we support.
In this role, you will:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of all residential homes, ensuring compliance and quality of care.
- Manage budgets, authorizations, and billing to maintain fiscal health.
- Supervise and develop residential management staff, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Serve as liaison with partner agencies, licensing entities, and families.
- Lead initiatives to enhance program quality and implement best practices
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in residential or healthcare services, ideally supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations for ICF/DD-H and Medi-Cal programs
- Proven ability to manage budgets and lead diverse teams effectively
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
